Dr. Dorri is a board-certified, fellowship-trained physician specializing in pain management, physical medicine, and sports medicine. He is known as a pioneer in minimally invasive spine and orthopedic pain management, performing advanced ultrasound-guided procedures.
Dr. Dorri’s medical training is extensive, with education from leading institutions in Iran and the United States. After graduating from Shahid Beheshti University in Tehran in 2000, he completed orthopedic sports medicine training at Army Hospital and the International Federation of Sports Medicine. He also completed the International Olympic Committee sports medicine course and served as an Olympic team physician and anti-doping officer.
After moving to the U.S., Dr. Dorri completed a sports medicine research fellowship at UMDNJ, surgical training at Montefiore Hospital, and physical medicine and rehabilitation training at New York Medical College and SUNY. He further advanced his expertise through the Kessler-UMDNJ interventional spine and pain management fellowship.He is widely respected for his patient-centered approach and dedication to achieving optimal outcomes. Dr. Patel is a proud graduate of the New York College of Podiatric Medicine with further extensive residency training in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery and Board Certified by the ABPM. He is trained in all major aspects of foot and ankle medicine including AO/ASIF oriented trauma surgery, reconstructive and sports injury surgery, and lower extremity correction surgery.

Dr. Patel has additional certifications in Hyperbaric medicine from the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine Society as well as advanced wound care training and experience.
